Data Privacy and Security

Nothing you put into BizGPT is used to train any model — ours or anyone else’s.

1. Your data stays on our servers

1. Everything you upload to your catalogue (MyCAT) is stored on BizGPT’s Azure servers, hosted in Australia.
2. Your files are processed and their embeddings built on those servers. The files themselves stay with us.
3. Your catalogue is yours. It is not shared with other customers, and it is not sold, rented or handed to anyone else.

2. We run our own models

1. BizGPT runs its own AI models on our own secure infrastructure, so the everyday work of searching and querying your data is done without sending it outside.
2. Our models are never trained on your data. Your information makes your answers better for you, not the model smarter for everyone else.

3. When you choose an outside model

1. BizGPT connects to a range of well-known AI providers so you can pick the model that suits the job.
2. Only what the model needs in order to answer is sent to it: context data — think of this as keywords drawn from your files — not the files themselves. Your catalogue never flows into a provider’s system.
3. The one exception is a ChatFile: when you upload a file to ask questions about that file directly, it is sent in full to the model you chose, for that purpose.
4. If you ever want to use a provider whose own terms allow it to use what it receives, that model is not switched on quietly. You are told, and it only runs once you click to consent. You can decline and keep using the rest of the platform as normal.

4. Our agreements with those providers

We hold an agreement with every provider our platform connects to. They all say the same three things:

1. Your data stays yours — you own what you put in and what comes back out.
2. Anything sent to them is not used to train their models.
3. What they do receive is kept only as long as it takes to process, then deleted.

That is what lets us pass the same promise on to you. Any model that does not come with those terms stays off unless you consent to it yourself.

Example: OpenAI’s enterprise terms

1. Ownership: You (BizGPT Pty Ltd) own and control your data.
2. OpenAI does not train on your data from ChatGPT Enterprise or the API Platform.
3. You (BizGPT Pty Ltd) own your inputs and outputs.
4. OpenAI will retain Customer Data sent through the API for a maximum of thirty (30) days, after which it will be deleted.
